Our cats ripped out our window screen so we put up hardware cloth first and then window screen as a second layer. You can't tell it is hardware cloth unless you look up close since it is the 1/4 inch size and the second layer of screen makes the patio cat proof and bug free. Be careful when working with this product as it is wire based and you need wire cutters and gloves to work with it comfortably.

This gauge was too fine for a small chicken pen I made with it. Any weight or stress will make it tear.

It arrived early and appears in good condition. I haven't rolled it out, cut it to size and used it yet, but it looks like it will do just fine and looks very straightly woven. Excellent choices and ordering and delivery service provided by Walmart. This was a hard-to-find product in this small mesh size, long length and wide width, and of this good and straight quality, plus it was considerably more expensive elsewhere. I have been very pleased with all the things I've ordered from Walmart online (3 sizeable items).

snake guard

Perfect for putting around our chain-link fence to keep snakes out of yard (We have had 4 dogs killed by rattlesnakes). Easy to fold (we needed to bury the wire about 8" to 10" in a right angle to the upright fence, in order to keep the snakes from going under the fence. Think L shape)

1. sure that would work, its easy to cut straight. Just cut along a row, the square are all soldered so they stay straight

2. We cut ours into 2 foot width for one of our patio sections that was not 4 foot wide. Our sections were 2 feet by 6 foot and it worked fine. Just wear gloves and use wire cutters. The cut edges get a little sharp when handling.

3. Be cheaper and would get a better product if you look to other sources and but 2 Ft x 50 rolls. This is not worth the money

4. It is so easy to cut with the proper tool. You will need a good pair of wire cutters. We had special wire cutters that cut at a diagonal. The wire acts as a guide and we cut very similar cuts to what you are asking about.

2. Yes, it won't last forever as the gauge of metal wire is not that big, but it is galvanized

3. It is fiarly flexible so it would be easy to bend, but I am not sure how long it would last underground as the soil might react with the metal and eventually it would break down. Any metal would be the same, even iron or steel.
