HFT Pipestoppers® Expandable Nylon Pipe Plugs
Great for leak testing, sealing, isolation, stopping and weld purging of all pipes, pipe joints and pipework assemblies can be carried out with the HFT Pipestoppers® Nylon Test Plugs, in the size range 0.5 to 6.0" (12 - 150 mm). Versatile, lightweight test plugs, mostly pocket size. The HFT Pipestoppers® range of Nylon Plugs includes 20 plugs to suit a multitude of applications.
These nylon plugs are available in several formats:
1.5 to 6" ø with 1/2 BSP threaded hollow shafts
0.5 to 1.5" ø with 6 mm threaded hollow shafts
0.5" to 1.5" ø with solid stems for greater pressure range
Many kits are available supplied in sturdy carrying storages cases. All plugs are available for immediate delivery from stock.

HFT Pipestoppers® Weld Purge Plugs™
Nylon Plugs are also used for weld purging, including for orbital welding. Made from engineering quality nylon up to 150 mm (6Ø). Virtually shatter-proof. Easily cleaned. Will not rust, corrode, seize up or lock. Sizes incorporate strengthening ribs to provide rigidity in use. Use for small or odd diameters. To be used for weld purging oval and out of round tubes as well as
in elbows, tees and other fittings. Ideal for creating an air-tight seal for leak testing operations.
Solid shaft range from 1/2 to 1.5" for higher pressure testing. Hollow shaft range from 1/2 to 6" for weld purging.

Available in a kit form, all suitable sizes for Orbital Welding in particular. Each kit is supplied in a strong sturdy carrying case for ease of storage and to maintain and keep the Orbital Welding Purge Plugs clean suitable for cleanrooms and the like.

HFT Pipestoppers® Expandable Aluminium Plugs
Leak testing, sealing, isolation, stopping and weld purging of all pipes, pipe joints and pipework assemblies can be carried out with the HFT Pipestoppers® Aluminium Test Plugs.
Available in the size range 1.5 to 36" (38 to 900 mm). The HFT Pipestoppers® range of Aluminium Test Plugs are heavy duty and high temperature resistant for entries and exits from 1.5 to 36" (38 to 900 mm). Suitable for arduous duties such as immersion in chemicals and/or higher temperatures. Friction free washer to ease tightening of the wing nut is a standard feature. All natural rubber rings can be replaced with silicone, nitrile, neoprene or viton. Standard sizes of HFT Pipestoppers® Test Plugs and Stoppers are available for immediate delivery.

HFT Pipestoppers® Expandable Steel Plugs
Leak testing, sealing, isolation, stopping and weld purging of all pipes, pipe joints and pipework assemblies can be carried out with the HFT Pipestoppers® Steel Test Plugs.
Available in the size range 1.5 to 72" (38 to 1800 mm). HFT Pipestoppers® Test Plugs are typically suitable for more arduous duties such as long immersion in water, for use at higher temperatures or for contact with acidic or alkaline environments for which the nylon, aluminium and inflatable plugs may be unsuitable.
Steel plugs are also available in double versions for greater pressure resistance, better stability and improved sealing. RimFast models are available in addition. All natural rubber rings can be replaced with silicone, nitrile, neoprene or viton.
Standard sizes of HFT Pipestoppers® Test Plugs and Stoppers are available for immediate delivery.

HFT Pipestoppers® PlugFast™ Peripheral Sealing Pipe Plugs
The Pipestoppers® Division of Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT® manufacture a range of Steel PlugFast™ Peripheral Sealing Plugs, which are specifically designed for heavy duty applications and / or exposure to higher temperatures.
The PlugFast™ Plugs are also designed for particular applications such as immersion in chemicals and are therefore very hard-wearing.
The size range of these fast sealing plugs are 17 to 96” (432 to 2440 mm) and are manufactured with either a single port series or a double port option.
